At Aurora Plains Art House, we are dedicated to sharing the best of Canadian art. Our focus is on honouring the legacy of the Group of Seven and other influential Canadian artists such as E. J. Hughes, Emily Carr and Jean Paul Riopelle. Their work helped shape how the world sees Canada, and we are proud to bring these pieces to our community.

We also believe in celebrating the art being created today. This includes the personal work of our founder, Brian Mendieta (BJM), whose paintings reflect a lifelong love of Canadian landscapes, culture and colour. His art sits alongside the masters who inspired him, creating a connection between historic vision and contemporary expression.

Aurora Plains Art House exists to share great Canadian art, support artists and offer a welcoming place for people to discover and collect original works. Our philosophy is simple. Art should move you, inspire you and connect you to the story of this land.
